The ultrasound was being made, first the baby at the right, then the baby at the left and then everything went silent. One baby had anencephaly. She would certainly die, either before if not soon after birth. In my thirty second week of pregnancy, Anna and Tess were born.  At first I was afraid to look at Anna, but she was beautiful. She lived four hours and will always be in our hearts. When we came back to the hospital after the funeral, we immediately went to our daughter Tess to hold her close and to share our grief.  Tess is 4 years old now and a lovely child with a heart of gold. I am proud to be the mother of my two girls, and I believe that some day we will meet again. (Tineke, mom of Anna and Tess)

BABIES HELD IN PRAYER

We will hold the following unborn babies in prayer. Please let us know when the baby is born.

I am asking that you would please pray for my daughter-in-law, Cynthia, and her unborn child, (a girl she has already named Bella) At 21 weeks pregnant, Cynthia is now in her 2nd trimester. The baby was just diagnosed with Hydro Cephalous (water on the brain) which was detected on sonogram.  Cynthia is scheduled to see the high risk pregnancy specialist tomorrow, March 24th and we will know more then. God bless you for being here on the internet and available to those of us who are frightened and confused.

Thank you, Rachael

For Ben and Christine who are due with a baby at the end of April. they FOUND OUT THAT THE BABY HAS "PATAU SYNDROME" a chromosomal defect (Trisomy 13). The baby already has signs of a brain defect and cleft lip and palate and other deformities. This is her first pregnancy. She is a devout Catholic and will not think of having an abortion, even though she has been asked to by her doctor and family members! Please put this beautiful family on all your prayer chains.

thanks so much!!  Love, Sue

-----------------------

My sister is pregnant and was just told her baby has Potter syndrome. I just have this gut feeling it is a wrong diagnosis. She is continuing to carry her baby until she goes into labor (Thank God). I would like prayers for her to give her strength and hope. Strength to continue to carry this blessing and hope that the diagnosis may be wrong. Doctors aren’t right all the time. Please pray for God to supply this baby with the amniotic fluid it needs as well as healthy kidneys and lungs. Thank you, Lindsey Ps my sisters name is Sandra G. her husbands name is Jeff G.

For baby Cunha, that he or she will be born healthy and strong. The family's first child, Arianna, was born with anencephaly, a lethal condition, and the second child was miscarried.
